State Energy Plan
In 1992, the South Carolina General Assembly passed the South Carolina Energy Efficiency Act, which created the State Energy Office and called for the creation of a comprehensive state energy plan (“State Energy Plan” or “Plan”).
Palmetto Clean Fuels Coalition
The Palmetto Clean Fuels Coalition (PCF) is an initiative of the Energy Office. PCF works to increase the use of alternative fuels and advanced vehicle technologies in South Carolina.
Technical Assistance
The Energy Office helps public and non-profit organizations identify ways to reduce their energy use and then fund those energy-saving improvements.
